SOLO ACOUSTIC
Me, my voice and my guitar and a huge songlist for your requests, mostly classic rock with some choice modern tunes. The addition of a looping pedal allows for plenty of great guitar jamming! A very fun gig.
ACOUSTIC DUO with
ELENA MARTIN -
I do a lot of acoustic gigs with Elena Martin, an amazing singer from Baltimore bands such as KAOS, The Buzz and the Real Geniuses. She can sing just about anything, and does
it all very well. Working with her takes the acoustic gig to a whole 'nother level.

BEN SHERMAN GROUP
This is my occasional classic rock/blues/power trio/party band thing, featuring a revolving cast of stellar bass players, drummers and sometimes keyboards.
TEACHING
I have been teaching private guitar lessons for over 20 years at Coffey Music in Westminster MD. Interest in guitar is greater than ever, and I am pleased to be helping a new generation of guitarists reach their highest potential.
I teach all levels and all styles. My goal is to inspire students to strive for excellence, have fun, and discover the power of music to express ones' self and connect with people. I am currently writing my first guitar instruction book, to introduce a wider audience to my ideas about the essential things guitar players should know.
