Ben Sherman - Acoustic Guitar & Vocals
Ben Sherman is a multi-award-wining guitarist and singer, including three Rammie Awards, a feature in Guitar Player Magazine and winning Best Instrumental Musician in the Maryland Music Monthly Readers' Poll. Ben played with Maryland classic rock legends Hectic Red, and is currently with the Steely Dan tribute band Technicolor Motor Home as well as Sons Of Pirates, a high energy beach party band that has been a Maryland favorite for over twenty years.
Classically trained and raised on rock and roll, Ben is the master of many styles, and has always enjoyed singing and playing solo shows. Ben does gigs regularly at many venues across the Maryland area. Ben's vocals are strong and polished, allowing for a wide repertoire of songs from the 60's to today, with an emphasis on classic rock.
Ben occasionally uses "looping" technology to record himself as he plays, allowing him to sound like two or three people. You can count on hearing some amazing performances, and songs that you wouldn't expect from a solo act!
